TU Students Work with HHGA for Community Day

Wayne and his new friend

For Community Day, eight University of Tulsa students volunteered their time to come out to our east kennel. They spent the day cleaning the kennel, petting the dogs, and doing lots of little things that add up! Their shining smiles and good attitudes were a welcome site - especially to the dogs!

Wayne is one of those dogs that does not warm up very easily and he surprised us all by falling in love with his new friend!

A HUGE THANK YOU to these extraordinary students!

George gets a little extra loving!

Jack gets ready to play tag

"I just get lost in your eyes!"

With the new kennel comes many new responsibilities. If you or any one you know would like to come and help with feeding, bathing, or cleaning up after the dogs, please contact Erin about setting up a time to help. It can be just one hour, two hours or whatever you can spare!

If you would like to donate toward our kennel project, please click on the "Make a Donation" button below and put kennel project in the message field. Remember that your gift is tax deductible!
